Volunteers are the lifeblood of natural resource management – from tree planting to community education to citizen science, thousands of individuals put their time and energy into protecting and enhancing the region’s landscapes.
This week is National Volunteers Week (21-27 May) so we wanted to take the chance to say a big THANK YOU to those who are working hard to ensure our land, waterways, plants and animals are there for us all to enjoy.
If you want to learn more about how you can help the local environment in the Living Links region, check out our Volunteer page.
