The Doveton Show is a low-cost family friendly alternative to the Melbourne Show, run by volunteers and supported by local businesses and the City of Casey Council. Each year the Doveton Show brings +20,000 people to Myuna Farm in Doveton for this one-day event. The show has many rides, animals, stalls, show bags and other attractions, all for gold coin entry.

This year Living Links will be joining the fun by holding some Bird Discovery Walks. Walks will start every hour, at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, and each one will go for half an hour. Come join wildlife experts to discover the fascinating birds that live along the Dandenong Creek, an important nature corridor. You will also learn how to take part in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count citizen science program, which will take place later in October. Free bird booklets will be provided. Meet at the entrance to Robert Booth Reserve, just across the creek from Myuna Farm (towards Dandenong). All ages welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Please bring your own water bottle, wear enclosed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
