Get your new year off to a wonderful start with our free summer Wayapa series!

Every Sunday morning throughout January 2020 (5, 12, 19, 26) :

Wayapa Wuurrk is an Aboriginal wellness and connection practice based on the ancient knowledge of deep connection to the earth and spirit – a concept known to Aboriginal people since the beginning of time.

Our Wayapa sessions will take you on a journey of self-discovery, aligning your senses through Earth mindfulness, visualisation and movement. You will develop a deeper understanding through Aboriginal eyes of how we all belong to the earth and how caring for the planet is fundamental to our wellbeing and environmental sustainability.

Sessions will be facilitated by accredited Wayapa practitioner and proud Bidjara woman Karan Kent of Yimba Yumba Earth Mindfulness, Promotion and Practice.

Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please register via Eventbrite so that we can notify you with any updates or cancellations:

Sessions will be cancelled in the event of extreme weather. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water, hat and sunscreen. Please arrive 5-10 mins before each session.

Meeting locations:

Tirhatuan Park: near the lake (past the toilet block).
